The DeSales Senior High School women team hit a number of speed bumps throughout the very first three days of year, and today any change of direction can come under new leadership.
"Personal and family issues were getting in the manner, " stated d'Auteuil, that had trained the Stallions since 2013. He didn't elaborate.
DeSales went 25-11-8 overall and 5-2-one in the CCL under d'Auteuil, winning a Division II district championship this past year.
The Stallions were 2-3-1 overall this season before playing Columbus School for Women within their CCL opener Sept. 15. They joined the competition on the two-game losing streak.
Based on athletics director Tom Neubert, assistant coach Steve Ulry will coach the Stallions with an interim foundation for the relaxation of year.
Before his resignation, d'Auteuil and the staff have been emphasizing consistency and seeking to assist their team find its safe place.
"We must get it within our mind to begin fast, " d'Auteuil stated following a 3-2 loss to Upper Arlington on Sept. 10. "It's something we fight a great deal. We're working through it. We're still searching for a name for the team, which will include a much better work rate. We as coaches need to press that (around the gamers) sometimes. In other cases, they need to go over themselves."
Based on d'Auteuil, DeSales' record isn't completely suggestive of its play. He reported the other half of the overall game against UA, once the Stallions stored the Golden Bears from the goal for that first ten minutes from the other half as well as for several prolonged stretches after that, simply to surrender two goals from near the coast front of goalkeeper Talia Kreuzer in individuals limited possibilities.
