NCS Playoff Picture
With simply four days left within the regular season (season finishes Saturday, February. 14), the NCS playoff picture is starting to consider
shape. To try to get among the 16 playoff spots in every division, teams must win their league (automatic qualifier, first round
home game) and have b .500 or better record for either their (1) overall record, (2) versus division competitors or (3) within their
league. While lots can occur within the next couple of days, certain teams seem like lock for any playoff place with other people likely in
or around the bubble.
Division I
In Division I, 18 teams come with an overall record or league record .500 or better. Five teams seem like lock barring a
disaster lower the stretch and five others stand it a great position. This leaves eight teams fighting during the last six slots.
Lock: Monte Vista, Castro Valley, Liberty, Heritage and Berkeley
Likely In: Washington, San Ramon Valley, Carondelet, College Park and Granada
Around the Bubble: Foothill, Freedom, Amador Valley, Logan, California, Alameda, Clayton Valley and Deer Valley
