Ohio University Girls Soccer

In March 2009, Dr. Carr received the united states Youth Soccer Thomas Fleck Award for Excellence in Training Education, praising an eternity of dedication and reaching contributions towards the process through which youth soccer coaches are educated in the usa. (See attached CV and news release from US Youth Soccer) Dr. Carr may be the Coordinator of Training Education within the School of Entertainment and Sport Sciences at Ohio College. He's the co-author of america Youth Soccer Official Training Manual and co-developer of america Youth Soccer National Youth License Program and Youth Training Modules. In addition to a National Staff coach for that US Soccer Federation and part of the nation's Soccer Coaches Association of the usa (NSCAA) where serves around the editorial board of Soccer Journal.

Dr. Carr may also play a principal role within the “Coaching the entire Child” program initiative that Play Soccer will build up in Cape Coast, Ghana in the Football for Hope Center. ( Play Soccer is designated partner of FIFA and Football for Expect the Ghana Center which belongs to this years World Cup Campaign “20 Centres in 2010) . The Center which is among the first built in Africa by FIFA will house Play Soccer’s model core program along with other health insurance and teaching programs for that Cape Coast community, so that as a magnet teaching center for Ghana and West Africa.) In Ghana, Dr Carr and Play Soccer can create a course to train and train Play Soccer volunteer teachers yet others within the training of youthful children, particularly including women, with a distinctive method of the “whole” child which includes teaching health insurance and social existence abilities, diet, and child development. The program like several Play Soccer programs is going to be an outreach towards the disadvantaged and non- elite along with a holistic method of development through sport.

Dr. Carr will consult various organizations to recognize female coaches who've the correct qualifications and interests to go to Africa in addition to work in the united states around the ECA grant activities in the united states.
